We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

IT Engineer: As IT Engineer, you will manage works in the field of analysis, specifications definition, integration of Space & Ground Segment applications. You will fulfill the missions as per the Service Level Agreement established between ESA and other commercial customers and Redu Space Services.

AOCS engineer: After an introduction period, you will lead the engineering and development of the attitude and orbit control system (AOCS). Tasks include: top level engineering, requirements capture, AOCS system operation design and verification, interactions of the AOCS with the rest of the spacecraft system and subsystems, sensor and actuator definition and requirements, monitoring of design, production and test, AOCS simulations/analysis, interface with AOCS software provider, support to the commissioning of the AOCS, management of technical budgets, support to bid activities & spacecraft studies.

Electronic System Engineer: After an introduction period, individually tuned to your previous experience, you will get the responsibility for the electronics development within the framework of an instrument or satellite. At project start-up, your initial focus will be to work out an electronic concept based on the customers’ technical requirements. Once the concept is finalised, unit specifications will be created for the electronic design keeping in mind a pragmatic approach for the project. You will technically lead the electronics development in close cooperation with the project manager and the other disciplines (thermal, structural). As such, you will be guiding the technical team, consisting of electronic designer(s), subcontractor(s) and/or supplier(s). Based on the customers’ requirements, you will initiate a suitable test approach for the unit. As the electronic system engineer, you will also interface with the customer and provide adequate and technical coherent documentation of the unit.

Quality Assurance Engineer: After an introduction period, in which you will get familiar with the basic quality and safety requirements related to aerospace projects, you will be assigned to a project. Within the project-team, you will be the point of contact for all quality and safety aspects. At project start-up, your initial focus will be the translation of the customers’ quality and safety requirements into a specific, pragmatic approach for the project. You will then monitor this approach during the different development phases, including design, manufacturing, integration, test and delivery. These activities are quite diverse and will include subcontractor audits, non-conformance handling, performance of reliability/risk analyses, hardware inspections. As the projects’ quality engineer, you will also interface with the customer and provide regular reporting on all quality aspects. In addition to the above responsibilities at project level, you could also be assigned to company level improvement projects within our EN9100 Quality Management System.

Project Manager: After an introduction period, in which you will get familiar with the company and our project handling, you will take the lead of an electronics or instrument related project, over the entire project lifecycle. These activities are quite diverse and will include overall responsibility w.r.t. schedule, cost, and risk management. You will be the point of contact with the customer and possible subcontractors. You will drive the requirements management. You will stand for meeting the final technical and configuration requirements. Accountability for baseline/change management is key. You will monitor & steer all project technical and non-technical activities. Last but not least, you will be managing your own project team.

Satellite Systems Engineer: After an introduction period, in which you will get familiar with the company and our project handling, you will take the technical lead of the project system/subsystem aspects over the entire lifecycle. It starts by understanding the customer technical requirements and translating these into design- and development requirements. Ensure proper requirement follow-up and traceability. Ensure follow-up of the design/development process. Stand for the overall technical coherence. Support the team during technical reviews. Coordinate and participate to system/subsystem level functional-and performance test campaigns. Perform system/subsystem level assessments/analysis.
